Personal letter from Mr. Nishio

I was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia on May 23rd of 1997. Since that time, I have come close to near death experiences two times. When it happened, I was barely able to move my body. In the first six years, sometimes it was very hard for me to work more than four hours a day. I often rested in my car or left work early. The blood stream would not carry enough oxygen in my body when the level of my hemoglobin decreased. Because of the condition, I tired easily and suffered from backache, headache, and shoulder ache. My wife cooked healthy meals with organic vegetables and massaged me daily about an hour. I took walks every morning and recited the poems that have spiritual messages. It was very hard to deal with this disease, but my wife and I have never succumbed to it.

On August of 2003, my doctor's assistant who helped my blood test told me about Kangen Water from Enagic. From that day on, I have been drinking 2.5 liter of Kangen Water. In about two weeks, I have regained my strength and the odor of my stool and flatulence dissipated. I was able to clip my nails and no longer got tired easily. I gradually reduced the amount of the new drug Glivec even though my doctor disagreed with my decision. The drug costs $20000 a month without insurance coverage.

When I did not drink Kangen Water for 10 days because I was in Japan, my white blood cell count reached over 90000. I needed to take the drug to control the count.

I am 65 years old now and intent to lead healthy and happy life for the next 35 years, promoting Kumon and Kangen Water. I have set up a website "Mr. Nishio's Formula for Happiness" with the title "I'm glad I have leukemia" at www.kangenwater5.com. English version is also available.

There is a similarity between the Kumon and the Kangen Water. Kumon encourages students to build their academic ability by their own efforts, and Kangen Water encourages people to protect their health by themselves.

I will keep writing about my "Formula for Happiness" bi-monthly in my website and our class news every month. I want you all to enjoy your freedom in your health, money, and time. I hope we will be able to find the way to coexist in harmony for many years to come. Please visit and enjoy my website anytime.

Sincerely yours,
Seiichiro Nishio
